We are seeking a Medical Assistant for a busy Ob/Gyn practice. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Complete and submit lab and pathology requisitions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields. Experience with Ob/Gyn an asset.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records. This practice uses E-Clinicalworks.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
We are an Ob/Gyn practice located in a fast growing suburb of Phoenix. You would be working Full time supporting our provider. Setting up rooms and trays for procedures and cleaning rooms and instruments at the end of the day.
