Provide confidential health services to students and staff in order to maintain a safe and healthy learning environment. Primary Responsibilities Assess, interpret and provide health care, in both general and in emergency situations, to students and staff in order to address safety and health concerns. Administer medications, perform procedures and treatments in order to support student health and well-being Collaborate with the student, parents, medical and school personnel to manage student’s healthcare in the school environment, which may include creating care plans. Schedule, organize, record and oversee various health assessments, making appropriate referrals and follow-up when necessary, in order to support healthy learning. File state and local mandated reports and maintain accurate student health records and staff reports in order to comply with health and safety laws. Provide health-related training for school personnel in order to support student health and/or remain compliant with federal, state, and district regulations. Serve as a resource to community health services for families and staff in order to address and support health needs. Participate in professional development in order to maintain licensure, grow professionally in the field and meet the requirements of the district. Requirements : Registered Nurse - current registration State Of Illinois. Bachelors Degree required.
