Contract Length: 12 Weeks

Shift: Days and Evenings

Weekly Hours: 40 hours (4x10)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to support surgical procedures in a fast-paced operating room environment. The Surgical Technician will prepare surgical instruments, maintain a sterile field, and assist the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and organize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Perform surgical counts and ensure proper handling of instruments and materials.
• Support patient preparation and positioning for procedures.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technician experience in a surgical setting
• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Operating Room experience
• Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity operating room environment.

Certification Required: NBSTSA
