If you are looking for a dynamic team to join in commercial construction, apply today!Pay Range: $20-$40/hr depending on experienceWork Type: Full timeBenefits:Medical, dental, vision plansFree basic life insuranceShort- and long-term disability401kPaid holidaysPaid time offJob Responsibilities:Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.Install waste, water, vent, and gas pipingFollow building plans and blueprints.Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.Light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling and electrical work as required.Install plumbing fixtures and equipmentKeep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.Commercial Plumber Qualifications / Skills:Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing tradeKnowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practicesAbility to read and follow blueprints and rough drawingsFamiliarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copperEffective oral communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to complete projects unsupervised and unassistedExcellent problem solving skillsAttention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneouslyProficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurementsEducation and Experience Requirements:High school diploma or GED certificateState plumbing license preferred1-3 years experience as a journeyman plumberValid driver's licenseMust have own hand toolsTA Woods LLC. is a commercial HVAC/plumbing, commercial design/build, construction, and service company located in Wilmington, NC.
