RN - Clinical Team Leader

Role: The Clinical Team Leader is responsible for providing direct patient care as the charge nurse, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment, and leading clinical staff. Key Responsibilities: Lead and make decisions for departmental staff to maintain quality care. Develop staffing plans based on patient needs and oversee daily operations. Monitor workflow, adjust staffing to meet fiscal and care goals. Facilitate patient flow, admissions, and discharges efficiently. Support department objectives related to patient experience, length of stay, and quality metrics. Participate in process improvement and departmental initiatives. Assist in employee evaluations, peer interviews, and incident investigations. Qualifications & Skills: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. Completion of charge nurse training and competencies. Current RN license in Texas or compact license. Clinical certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, with advanced certifications (e.g., CCRN, CEN) within two years.
