Autonomous Vehicle Safety Driver
Location: Dallas, TX (On-site) Pay: $25 per hour Schedule: Full-time Shift: Workdays: $25 per hour
- Available Shifts: AM (6:00 AM4:30 PM) PM (2:30PM-11:00PM) And other shifts Available Schedules:
- Sunday Wednesday
- Thursday Sunday
- Saturday Tuesday
What You'll Do
- Drive and monitor autonomous vehicles during testing
- Stay alert and ready to take control if needed
- Follow traffic laws and safety rules at all times
- Perform daily vehicle safety checks
- Collect and report driving data and feedback
- Communicate with riders, engineers, and operations teams
- Handle unexpected road or pedestrian situations calmly and safely
What You Need
- Valid U.S. driver's license (held for 3+ years)
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or drug/alcohol offenses in the last 5 years)
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to react quickly in challenging driving situations
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable driving in different weather and road conditions
Preferred Experience
- Autonomous vehicle or EV driving
- Driving instructor, motorsports, or safety-focused driving roles
- Knowledge of vehicle technology or control systems
- Defensive or safe driving certifications
