Principal Test Engineer

Raytheon Senior Engineer PositionRaytheon's Effector Analog & Power (EAP) Team is looking for senior level engineers who have electronics testing knowledge to help verify power and analog oriented products.The Effector Analog & Power Design Department is responsible for the development, from concept to integration, of Telemetry and Flight Termination products; power systems from all up round to the lowest level power regulation; servo electronics supporting all mechanical motion in our products and low noise mixed signal electronics that provides the analog to digital interface to our front-end sensors. Each of these products generally operate in lower power and voltage ranges less than 10kW and 1000V.What You Will DoWorking with a team of engineers performing electrical tests and troubleshooting on subassemblies, assemblies, and systems for conformance to specificationsAdvanced understanding and ability to apply the theory of operation for the unit under test to enable determination of faulty product for design, workmanship, environmental and/or component defects on complex electronics.Work on systems validation, test and analysis while working through all phases of integration, and test validation activities within the Labs.Ensure customer success through the development and execution of innovative and comprehensive test, verification, and validation strategies, processes, tools and techniques.Qualifications You Must HaveRequires a Bachelor's in Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and 8 years' experience, or a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years' experience.Experience with prints, schematics, sketches, and test procedures.Experience troubleshooting circuit cards, at the component levelBackground using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, or spectrum analyzersWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
