This facility is part of Connecticut's most comprehensive healthcare network, featuring seven acute care hospitals, thriving community teaching hospitals, and one of the largest multi-specialty medical groups in New England with more than 1,000 providers. The Sleep Center provides a supportive and collaborative environment where both newly graduated and experienced practitioners receive mentorship, on-the-job training, and procedural support to ensure professional success.

Opportunity:
Advanced Practitioners – Other Specialties

Job Details:

  • Work a Monday through Friday daytime schedule in an ambulatory Sleep Medicine setting
  • Manage initial patient consultations and ongoing follow-up visits for Sleep Center patients
  • Engage in independent decision-making regarding the health care of individuals, families, and groups across the healthcare continuum with primary focus on Sleep Medicine
  • Collaborate with Sleep Center physicians, clinical and administrative staff, patients, and their families to facilitate and improve patient care
  • Provide patient education to enhance long-term health outcomes
  • Work alongside supportive attending physicians and technicians who assist with mask fittings
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's program required
  • Must be licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Connecticut
  • National Board Certification as an Ambulatory Advanced Practice Registered Nurse required or eligible to obtain
  • Sleep Medicine experience preferred
  • Bilingual skills preferred but not required
