By hiring the best people and helping them grow both professionally and personally, we ensure a bright future for NTT DATA Services and for the people who work here.NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Senior Java/J2EE Developer to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).ResponsibilitiesCreate solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining Java based components and interfaces.Define site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.Design and develop user interfaces to internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycleDevelop software using Java with Spring products.Support development of complex front-end logic.Determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.Clear understanding of web services and SOA related standards like REST/OAuth/JSON and SOAP/WSDLComplete applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.Support client by developing documentation and assistance tools.Understanding of SOA concepts, principles and patterns is required.Technical Skills: Java/J2EE, Web User Interface Design,Software Requirements, Software Development Process, Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Software Debugging, AJAX, Spring Frameworks Spring ORM Frameworks (Hibernate), SQL & Databases (PL/SQL)RequirementsMust have extensive hands on experience in Core Java / J2EE4-6 years of relevant experience in functional / system analysis3-5 years of experience in data modelling and analysis.Experience working with business and technology partners in defining and validating requirementsExperience with data and processes to ensure compliance with requirements.Should have good grip on non-functional areas like performance, scalability studies, human interaction, software ergonomicsAbility to take initiative and communication skills are essentialAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAbility to clearly articulate, document and communicate problem and resolution plansAbility to provide support and resolve issues during non-business hoursDemonstrated problem analysis and solving skills including complex problemsEducationUndergraduate degree or equivalent combination of educationBasic Qualifications:Minimum 5+ years of experience in:Developer-Java/JEE-Core JavaDeveloper-Java/JEE-JAVA Framework-SpringThis position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA, Inc. or its subsidiaries.
