Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Based in Meriden, CT, join HMD's fleet as an OTR solo CDL-A Dry Van driver operating nationwide routes. You’ll move freight across regions while running predictable long-haul rotations.

What you’ll do:

• Drive late-model dry van tractors (under 3 years) fitted with APUs, inverters, and sleepers.
• Ensure timely, compliant deliveries on interstate OTR lanes.
• Complete accurate logs, inspections, and electronic paperwork for each trip.

Requirements & pay:

• Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience.
• Mileage pay begins at 65¢/mile with weekly averages near 2,500 miles and bonuses for safe driving, clean inspections, and referrals.
• Home roughly every two weeks, with in-house maintenance support and full benefits (health, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k)).
