HR Business Partner — US West Coast (California) Location: California, USA (On-site at Fulfillment Centers) Key Responsibilities Serve as the HR business partner overseeing full-cycle HR operations for the company's California warehouse cluster, ensuring seamless execution of all people-related programs. Partner with business leaders on workforce planning and headcount needs — own recruitment fulfillment rate and time-to-fill for California warehouse positions to ensure timely staffing. Conduct regular one-on-one check-ins with new hires to ensure performance goals are set and understood early; support new employee onboarding, integration, and business acclimation. Lead monthly performance check-ins for supervisor-level and above employees, ensuring buy-in on performance evaluations and gaining visibility into challenges and resource needs — drive solutions proactively. Manage the California region's labor vendor relationships, including supplier evaluation and replacement, to ensure staffing availability and quality of temporary workers. Own the accuracy, timeliness, and correction rate of frontline attendance reconciliation. Plan and execute employee engagement and cultural activities across warehouse locations to strengthen belonging and improve the overall employee experience. Oversee warehouse safety training and enforcement to ensure safe operations and regulatory compliance. Qualifications & Requirements 5+ years of experience as an HRBP or HR Generalist in North America, with solid knowledge of California employment laws, wage & hour regulations, and compliance requirements. Fluent in English — able to use English as a full working language in all business contexts. Strong communication, coordination, and business presentation skills; excellent interpersonal skills with a high degree of approachability and empathy. Outgoing, warm, and energetic personality — organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable with sound judgment and a structured approach to problem-solving. #J-18808-Ljbffr
