You’ll partner closely with a dedicated team, including teaching assistants, behavior technicians, and 1:1 aides—each focused on shaping a positive and inclusive classroom experience. Work with small caseloads, ensuring individualized attention: an elementary class of six and a co-teaching middle school group of eleven. In these settings, most students require minimal behavioral supports, and your expertise in toileting assistance will be valued. No feeding needs are required in the elementary room, and only one middle school student has a feeding tube—with robust support from your collaborative classroom team.

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Valid credentials as a Special Education Teacher
• Previous experience in elementary or middle school special education settings, preferably with structured support and co-teaching models
• Skilled in supporting toileting assistance as needed; feeding tube experience helpful but not mandatory
• Strong commitment to fostering inclusive and nurturing learning environments
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with staff and families
• Flexibility, empathy, and a student-centered approach
