HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Overland Park, Kansas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Unit Specifics: · Number of Beds : 16 · Type of equipment : Ventilators, CRRT, Hemosphere, Impella, ICP monitors, Arterial/CVC lines · Documentation system: Meditech · Scheduling requirements: Self-scheduling. Days: every 4th weekend, 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays per schedule. Nights: 4 weekend shifts per schedule (Fri, Sat, Sun night) · On Call Requirements: None · Floating policy: Float to Cardiac Care Unit only when overstaffed · Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, Nurse Leader to round on patient prior to DC Hospital Specifics- · Certifications: Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center Must have : Team focused attitude Advanced skills needed: Neuro ICU experience a bonus Procedures performed on unit: Cardioversion, PEG placements, EGD, bronchs, EVD placement, chest tube insertion, central line/art line placement, Rapid Sequence Intubation Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
