Tax Partner

A highly regarded, mid-sized public accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Director / Partner to join its growing Professional Services tax practice. This individual will serve as a strategic leader within the group, advising middle-market clients while playing a key role in driving business development and expanding the firm’s footprint. This is a market-facing role with significant visibility, offering the opportunity to shape a practice, deepen client relationships, and mentor a high-performing team. The position offers flexibility to sit in New York City, Long Island, Boca Raton, or Palm Beach Gardens (hybrid). Responsibilities Act as a trusted advisor to clients across the Professional Services space, providing tax planning and compliance support Handle complex tax matters across partnerships, corporations, and individual partner/shareholder structures Provide technical guidance on partnership allocations, SALT considerations, and multi-entity structures Lead and review tax compliance engagements, including returns and technical memos Drive business development initiatives and identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships Represent the firm in the market through networking, events, and industry involvement Mentor and develop junior team members, including performance management and technical training Stay current on evolving tax regulations and ensure best practices across engagements Qualifications 10+ years of public accounting tax experience Strong background in partnership taxation and complex entity structures Experience working with middle-market clients, ideally across Professional Services and/or Consumer sectors Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams #J-18808-Ljbffr Madison-Davis, LLC
