Sr Engineer - Storage, Backup & Recovery Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on infrastructure engineer to support a client's enterprise storage, backup, recovery, and server environments.

This role combines implementation and operational support with architecture, security, resilience, and lifecycle management across on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, operate, and support enterprise servers, storage, backup, and recovery platforms.

• Support enterprise backup and data-protection solutions, including Commvault.

• Contribute to infrastructure architecture, implementation, maintenance, and lifecycle planning.

• Support hybrid-cloud infrastructure and related services.

• Maintain and improve disaster recovery and cyber recovery capabilities.

• Support regulatory compliance, audit requirements, and infrastructure security standards.

• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver complex infrastructure initiatives and reliable operations.

Ideal Background

• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise storage, backup, recovery, and server infrastructure.

• Experience with Commvault and enterprise data-protection platforms.

• Knowledge of on-premises, cloud, and hybrid-cloud environments.

• Experience supporting disaster recovery, cyber recovery, and infrastructure resilience.

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or technical institute degree/certificate or equivalent work experience AND five (5) years of relevant information technology work experience. A higher-level degree, specialized training, relevant certification, or comparable technical experience may be considered as a substitution where appropriate.
2. Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise storage, backup, recovery, or related infrastructure in complex and highly available environments.
3. Working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure operations, change management, incident/problems management, technical documentation, and vendor support processes.
4. Proven experience supporting Cloud Storage
