Role Overview:

Paralel is seeking a Fund Accountant to join our Fund Accounting team. This role is responsible for calculating the daily Net Asset Value (NAV) of investment funds. You will utilize our next-generation technology to perform daily tasks such as reviewing portfolio trades, analyzing the fund’s income and expenses, and complete daily reconciliations with the fund’s custodians and brokers to verify that the calculated NAV is accurate.

This role supports other teams within the Paralel organization and external clients to provide accurate information and resolve issues in a timely manner. This position follows a hybrid work schedule based out of our Denver, CO office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Complete daily NAV calculations.
• Perform daily reconciliations with custodians.
• Support Financial Reporting to complete quarterly reporting cycles.
• Work with clients to ensure NAVs are accurate and timely.
• Support the product team with daily deliverables.
• Assist with daily Fund performance calculations.
• Produce support to complete audits Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy with strong
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills multi-tasking skills
• Computer experience (Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook)
• Confluence Unity experience a plus
• FIS Investment Accounting Manager experience a plus
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Willingness to learn new topics and curious in problem solving
• Innovative mindset in a startup firm
• Humble, open minded to feedback, adaptable in very fast-paced environment

Compensation Range:

• $58,000 - $68,000

Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Other Compensation:

• Performance bonus eligible
