Associate Director, Launch Excellence, US Lupus

Biogen seeks an Associate Director to lead integrated launch readiness and execution for a lupus treatment entering the US market. This management role coordinates cross-functional teams across marketing, medical, market access, and operations to deliver a structured, insight-driven product launch.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the integrated US lupus launch plan with cross-functional alignment
• Lead the US Launch Operations Team and coordinate weekly, monthly, and milestone-based governance meetings
• Drive accountability for launch deliverables and readiness activities across commercial and enabling functions
• Monitor progress, identify risks and dependencies, and escalate launch-critical decisions to leadership
• Maintain launch readiness dashboards, risk registers, and strategic recommendations for key stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years biopharmaceutical industry experience with launch planning or program management
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional efforts for at least one major product launch
• Deep knowledge of launch governance, readiness processes, and milestone planning
• Strong project and risk management capabilities with complex, multi-workstream programs
• Ability to influence without authority and drive accountability across matrixed teams
• Experience developing launch planning tools, dashboards, and reporting systems

Compensation: $164,000–$225,500 base
