Sr Program Manager

Location: onsite. 4 days on, 1 day remote – Burbank, CA – Need local only Senior program manager with executive presence, experience in program management with multiple work streams, and the ability to communicate effectively with executives. The role involves managing timelines, results, and alignment with OKRs, as well as overseeing IT transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a background in sourcing vendor management, financial savvy, data experience, and familiarity with AI innovation and contract management lifecycle systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of medium- to large-scale programs, ensuring alignment with company objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Define program scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed program schedules, work plans, and resource allocations.
• Identify and manage program risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively working to mitigate obstacles.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for program status, providing regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative team environment, facilitating effective communication and accountability across project teams.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Manage vendor and partner relationships as required to achieve program objectives.
• Champion best practices in program management, process improvement, and change

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 8+ years of program or project management experience, ideally within media, technology, or entertainment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex programs with multiple interdependencies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Smartsheet).
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience working in highly matrixed organizations.
• PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working within The Walt Disney Company or similar enterprise environment.
• Experience managing budgets, financials, and ROI analysis for large-scale programs.
• Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies
