PURCHASING AGENT (OFFICE AUTOMATION)

Rate Range: $37.00 to $40.00/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. The Buyer is responsible for coordinating the procurement, tracking, and expediting of materials, equipment, parts, supplies, and services to support business operations. This role requires a strong focus on cost management, supplier negotiations, and problem-solving to ensure quality products and services are obtained at competitive prices and delivered on schedule. This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license. Familiarity with the procurement of raw materials, standards, parts and commodities related to VIP aircraft interiors. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and materials specifications is required. Proficient in MS Office applications. Must have advance Excel skills. Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years related experience and/or training; Aerospace background and aircraft interior industry experience preferred.
