Certifications:

• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent
• Must-Have: Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment
• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing

Description: The Registered Nurse is a practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The position incorporates essential functions adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice. The Registered Nurse must demonstrate clinical competence and experience in patient care management. Knowledge of nursing theory and practice is required to ensure high-quality care. This role does not require on-call duty or weekend shifts.
