Job Location: Chandler, AZ
PODS Moving & Storage, the leader in the moving and storage industry, is currently looking for a candidate to fill our warehouse position in Chandler. This position is responsible for repairing our company-branded storage containers, along with other general warehouse duties.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform assembly-type functions using hand and/or power tools (without supervision)
- Minor equipment maintenance
- Shop clean up
- Parts inventory
- pressure washing
- Basic computer skills
- Able to complete forklift training and safely operate a forklift
- adhere to all safety policies and perform all tasks in a safe manner, including adhering to OSHA regulations
Qualifying applicants should:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-3 years in a related field (assembly, steel fabrication, carpentry, industrial painting, etc.)
- Ability to read and understand English is required for OSHA safety regulations
- Possess a current, valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- authorized to work in the US
- Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties; ability to apply these skills to units of American weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience
