Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents
• Monitor resident health, noting any changes and reporting concerns to the physician or nurse management team
• Assist in developing, updating, and implementing individual care plans for residents
• Supervise and mentor nursing assistants, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to safety protocols
• Foster a positive, collaborative atmosphere among staff members, residents, and families
• Serve as a resource for team members, promoting professional growth and supporting leadership development
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and state regulations
• Promote a culture of patient advocacy, ensuring that residents' dignity, rights, and preferences are always respected

What We're Looking For:

• Current LVN licensure.
• Charge nurse experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of long-term care nursing protocols and procedures
• Compassionate, patient, and selfless attitude towards residents and their families
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team
• Leadership abilities with a desire to mentor and support nursing staff
• Respect for residents, families, and coworkers, with a focus on maintaining a positive and professional environment
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and provide care with empathy and professionalism
