In this role, you'll work with a wide range of sophisticated testing, measurement, and manufacturing equipment that plays a critical role in producing high-quality products that impact patient lives.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting complex instrumentation, working across multiple departments, and contributing to a highly regulated, cutting-edge manufacturing environment.What You'll DoAs a key member of the calibration team, you will:Perform calibration, adjustment, and verification of electronic, mechanical, dimensional, temperature, humidity, and pressure-based equipmentTroubleshoot instrumentation and measurement systems to identify and resolve performance issuesExecute preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and uptimeMaintain accurate calibration records and equipment documentationReview vendor calibration certificates and service reports for compliance and accuracySupport root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiativesPartner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Facilities, and R&D teamsUtilize CMMS systems such as IBM Maximo to manage calibration schedules and equipment historiesWhat We're Looking ForRequired:2+ years of calibration or instrumentation experienceExperience calibrating and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic equipmentKnowledge of regulated manufacturing environments such as medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, aerospace, or similar industriesExperience maintaining technical documentation and calibration recordsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPreferred:Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech manufacturingFamiliarity with cGMP, FDA, or other regulated quality systemsExperience with IBM Maximo or similar CMMS platformsASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certificationExperience supporting CAPA, investigations, or equipment reliability initiativesWhy This Opportunity Stands OutWork with advanced manufacturing and testing technologiesGain exposure to a diverse range of sophisticated instrumentation and calibration systemsCollaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D teamsPlay a critical role in product quality, reliability, and patient safetyLong-term opportunity with strong potential for extension and permanent conversionJoin a collaborative team where your technical expertise directly impacts operational successJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
