Biosensor Engineer (Contingent)

Responsibilities Support the development, integration, and testing of wearable and biosensor technologies for DoD applications Focus on physiological monitoring systems, sensor integration, and human performance applications in operational environments Evaluate and integrate wearable and biosensor technologies Support development and testing of physiological monitoring systems Conduct analysis of sensor performance and data outputs Support prototype development and validation activities Assist with transition of technologies to operational use Other duties as assigned Position Conditions This position is contingent upon contract award. Education/Training Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required Experience 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area Experience with wearable devices, bionsensors, or physiological data required Experience in test, validation, or lab environments required Experience in regulated environments (FDA, ISO, ASTM) preferred Knowledge of human performance or medical systems preferred DoD or research lab experience preferred Security Must be a US citizen Active Top Secret clearance required Physical Requirements Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.) Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Short Term & Long Term Disability Training & Development Wellness Resources Salary $115,000 - 130,000 Salary rates for this position are competitive and commensurate with experience and industry standards.
