Java AWS Developer

Location: Columbus, OH (Weekly 5 days office is Must).

Duration: Contract.

Note: Only H4-EAD Visa.

Mandatory Skills: Java 8, Microservices, Spring Boot, API and very strong experience in AWS Cloud Services such as EC2, Lambda, S3.

Job Description:

Seeking a Senior Developer with 7+ years of experience in Java development, AWS, and Java Microservices. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in building scalable, high-performance systems and integrating cloud-based services. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust solutions using Java technologies and AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java microservices using frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices architectures to support business-critical applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure effective delivery of services.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices for clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to complex technical challenges.
• Work within an Agile development environment, contributing to sprint planning, development, testing, and delivery.
• Automate deployment processes and support CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflows.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Java, AWS, and microservices technologies, and integrate new tools and practices into the team.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on building Java microservices.
• Proficiency in Java frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and other Java-based tools and libraries.
• Experience in developing microservices architectures and creating efficient RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing with hands-on experience using AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and IAM.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a focus on optimizing application performance.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer.

• Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with message queues (e.g., SQS, SNS) and event-driven architectures.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
