Mobile Service Technician

Description Mobile Service Technician Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks. Provide minor repairs and maintenance at customer locations utilizing a mobile service van and equipment. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate repairs. Teamwork: Coordinate effectively with staff in multiple departments to provide top notch customer service. Customer Service: Provide and present recommended work to customers for additional services based on vehicle condition and manufacturer guidelines. Ensure customer vehicles are repaired correctly and in a timely manner to meet customer satisfaction. Ensure vehicles are left clean and in better condition than arrival. Documentation and Reporting: Accurately complete repair orders, detailing work performed, parts used, and time spent on each repair. Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed. Report any additional vehicle issues or concerns to service advisors and management. Take customer payments when necessary and ensure accurate reporting of each payment. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other service technicians, service advisors, and parts department to ensure a smooth and efficient service process. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay current with industry developments and dealership policies. Assist and mentor junior technicians as needed. Compliance and Safety: Follow all dealership and manufacturer policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to shop policies and regulations. Properly dispose of hazardous materials and maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
