Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 52 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days, evenings, on call Employment Type: Local Contract Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray Location: San Jose, CA Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Permanent Shift Availability: AM, PM, Weekend, Evenings Tasks and Responsibilities Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment, transmitting images to Radiologists for interpretation. Transport and unload portable X-ray equipment into facilities to perform physician-ordered exams, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent images. Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit results to Cardiologists for interpretation. Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol. Maintain regular communication with dispatch and management. Interact professionally and efficiently with peers, supervisory staff, and clients. Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment in proper working condition. Physical Demands Ability to push/pull 50–100 lbs using vehicle ramps and pulleys. Within facilities or homes, equipment weight may increase, requiring up to 50 lbs of force 16–24 times per day. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
