Accounting Bookkeeper

Job Description The Accounting Bookkeeper is a vital member of a small, independent team, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the monthly close process. This role involves daily transaction entry and efficient management of financial data using QuickBooks, with a focus on construction industry experience. Responsibilities Entry of invoices, receipts, slips, credit card Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy Process invoices and track expenses systematically Prepare financial reports to support monthly close activities Reconcile accounts to maintain up-to-date ledgers Assist with payroll support for timely and accurate payments Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of bookkeeping experience Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and General Ledger processes Knowledge of Accounts Payable Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills Experience in the construction industry is key Company Description Welcome to New England Yankee Construction New England Yankee Construction, LLC strives to surpass our client's expectations, at every step of a project.
