Job Overview

Specialty: Family Medicine

Location: Albuquerque, NM

Work Environment: Clinic Setting

Start Date: As soon as credentialing is completed

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. No late clinics, no on-call duties, and no after-hours documentation required.

Patient Demographics: Comprehensive family medicine, serving patients from infants to seniors. Internal Medicine practitioners can see patients aged 18 and older, while Family Nurse Practitioners (FNPs) are qualified to treat pediatric patients.

Patient Load: 8-14 patients per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic health conditions
• Conduct thorough physical examinations
• Create personalized treatment plans for patients
• Encourage wellness and preventive healthcare practices
• Facilitate referrals to specialists when necessary
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests
• Engage in quality improvement projects

Documentation and Licensing

EMR System: Elation

License Required: New Mexico medical license

On-Call Duties: None
