Role Overview The Ambulatory Float Pool Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse outpatient settings, including specialty clinics, surgical subspecialties, and procedural areas. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include Educating patients and families on disease management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Developing and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients. Using strong critical thinking skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors. Participating in professional development and ensuring effective communication across care teams. Qualifications and skills required Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree in Nursing, with RN licensure. Preferred qualifications include a BSN and two years of experience, especially in critical care or emergency settings. Strong communication, critical thinking, and flexibility are essential.
