IT Systems Project Manager

Job Summary (List Format):
- Review and validate new project requests, including scope and cost estimates.
- Develop high-level project plans and timelines for new initiatives.
- Assess resource requirements and recommend sourcing options based on availability.
- Create, manage, and maintain detailed project plans.
- Allocate resources and manage project team schedules to ensure timely deliverables.
- Collaborate with managers to secure necessary personnel for project execution.
- Ensure adherence to Project Management standards and use of standard templates by team members and stakeholders.
- Organize and lead project progress meetings with team members and stakeholders.
- Oversee completion of project documentation and secure sign-off on key deliverables.
- Prepare, submit, and adjust budget proposals as needed.
- Publish weekly project status reports to all stakeholders.
- Build and maintain business relationships crucial for project success.
- Escalate project issues and status changes as appropriate.
- Proactively manage project scope changes, identify potential risks, and develop contingency plans.
- Define and communicate project success criteria throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor, motivate, and supervise project team leads, members, and contractors.
- Resolve conflicts within and between project team members.
- Set and manage expectations with team members and stakeholders.
- Conduct post-mortem reviews and generate recommendations for future projects.
- Utilize strong project management and software development experience.
- Apply technical knowledge of ERP software and project management tools (MS Project, MS Office, etc.).
- Demonstrate excellent communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
- Prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Foster collaboration between business and technology departments.
- Present and communicate ideas clearly to various audiences, ensuring exceptional customer service orientation.
