Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,980 - $2,080
• Location: Flemington, NJ 08822 (New Jersey nursing jobs, NJ emergency nurse jobs)
• Setting: Emergency Department (ED) - Per Diem / Local Float Pool
• Employment Type: Per Diem RN (Emergency Nurse)
• Shift: Flexible night shifts as needed (4p-4a or 8p-8a)
• Hours per Week: 36 (minimum commitment: 2 shifts per month)
• Duration: 52 weeks
• Scrub Policy: Any clean, neat scrub color is acceptable
• Cancellation Policy: 2-hour cancellation notice

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Emergency Department, trauma, or other acute care setting (ED experience preferred)
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license required (must be in hand at time of application)
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills for fast-paced ED care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with physicians, techs, and multidisciplinary staff

Responsibilities / Emergency Nurse Duties

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department (ER/ED)
• Perform rapid assessment, triage, implement and evaluate emergency nursing interventions
• Respond to emergencies, assist with resuscitations, and provide critical interventions as needed
• Administer medications, manage cardiac monitoring, and perform wound care and procedures within RN scope
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safe transitions of care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and adhere to patient safety best practices
