Community Health Program Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement evidence-based programs and initiatives focused on tobacco prevention among youth and young adults.
• Assist and support schools in implementing tobacco prevention and cessation initiatives.
• Collaborate with program team members to plan and deliver youth engagement training related to tobacco prevention.
• Participate in trainings, workshops, conferences, and meetings related to tobacco prevention, control, and public health initiatives.
• Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve program goals and objectives.
• Apply current public health knowledge to support the implementation of community health education interventions and programs.
• Identify educational needs and support the development of training programs and educational classes for program staff and other stakeholders.
• Assist in designing and delivering training programs for health department employees, teachers, and other professionals.
• Prepare and distribute educational and program materials to stakeholders involved in tobacco prevention initiatives.
• Manage and prioritize assignments effectively while working remotely.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Health Education, Biology, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in public health, education, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and effectively prioritize and complete assigned tasks.
