Mig Welder

MIG Welder Up To $25/hr

We're looking for a MIG Welder to join our team! In this role, you'll work on a variety of steel products including bridge railings, structural steel, traffic barriers, and custom fabrication projects. If you have welding experience, enjoy working with blueprints, and take pride in quality work, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Perform MIG welding on carbon and mild steel
• Read blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
• Fit, assemble, and weld structural steel components
• Use grinders, tape measures, welding machines, and other shop tools
• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and accuracy
• Grind and finish parts as needed
• Work with the team to meet production goals and deadlines
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

What We're Looking For

• Experience with MIG welding in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Experience fitting and assembling steel components
• Comfortable using grinders, tape measures, and other fabrication tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
• Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled shop

Nice To Have

• Flux core, TIG, or stainless steel welding experience
• Aluminum welding experience
• Fitting experience
• Experience working on structural steel projects
• Interest in learning robotic welding equipment

Schedule

Monday - Thursday: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Friday: 5:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Occasional Saturdays as needed

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SHAWNEE MISSION, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
