Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Outpatient Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with charting systems required Description: The Physical Therapist will work in the Outpatient Rehabilitation department. This position requires a schedule of Monday through Friday. The typical shift is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The therapist will be responsible for patient evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans. Skills in acute care, adaptive devices, and rehabilitation processes are necessary. Experience with a variety of patient diagnoses is preferred, including orthopedic conditions and neurological disorders. The role demands effective communication with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and progress. Therapists are expected to adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clear and organized workspace. Participation in interdisciplinary team meetings is encouraged to collaborate on patient care. Documentation of patient progress using required charting systems is a key responsibility. The ability to float to different areas within the facility may be necessary.
