Nurse Practitioner I PA GI

This position is 32 hours per week on a rotating schedule. The location is South Market Lakewood Ranch/Sarasota Area. 2-3 nights of call a month. Weekend rounding about every 6 weeks at the Main Hospital. Train at the main hospital in St Pete for 4-6 months.

APRNs and PAs assume responsibility and accountability for health stabilization promotion and maintenance of acute and chronic illness or injury under the supervision of a physician. Through collaborative practice with all members of the care team this role is responsible for patient outcomes that meet the high quality of care provided by JHACH.

Qualifications:

• Current Florida State Licensure as PNP-PC PNP-AC or a PA.
• Clinical Masters Degree in Nursing or DNP for PNP-PC or ACPNP or Masters degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• Current BLS and PALS.
  Current National Certification as a: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Acute Care or PNP-PC or PA.
• Preferred candidate will have pediatric and GI experience.

Salary Range: Minimum 51.03/hour - Maximum 79.10/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
