Description:
1st Timer/PCU RN for night shifts with every other weekend required.
Weekdays and some weekends required.
Must be able to float within units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity.
Shift schedule is 3x12 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Estimated patient ratios are 1:3.
Two years of experience is required.
Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH are preferred.
Skills required include conscious sedation, management of ventilated patients, telemetry, and central line care.
High acuity, fast-paced progressive care unit.
Stable vents and non-invasive ventilation.
Experience with high-flow nasal cannula and heated high-flow nasal cannula is required.
Care for patients with various diagnoses including respiratory failure, stroke, and renal failure.
Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
Equipment available includes lift equipment.
Candidates must comply with credentialing processes promptly.
Professional references are required as part of the application process.
