That’s why we invest in them with benefits and development opportunities that reflect just how much we value them.WHAT YOU'LL DOOur Finance team loves digging into the details to drive profitability while providing excellent customer service.You'll own the complex, relationship-driven side of customer finance — managing trade deductions, partnering with Sales, and delivering the business judgment and customer expertise that sits at the core of Talking Rain's Finance team.Reports to: Financial Analyst LeadDirect Reports: N/ALocation: Onsite at our Preston, WA officeAnnual Bonus Potential: 7% - Eligibility is based on the company hitting annual financial targets.Hourly Rate: $35.00 - $44.00 (depending on experience)Note: New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market.Investigate, validate, and resolve complex customer deductions, chargebacks, and short payments that require sound business judgmentAct as the internal expert on customer and account nuances while maintaining accurate records of customer-specific terms and agreementsCollaborate with Sales to resolve disputes, align on trade spend, and confirm deduction accuracy; serve as the escalation point for high-priority issuesAnalyze customer-level data to identify trends, determine root causes, and uncover opportunities to reduce deduction volumeCoordinate customer onboarding to the VIP system, ensuring accurate account setup and configurationManage VIP system master data to ensure mappings remain accurate and currentMaintain TPM system data to validate deductions against approved promotional activity and customer agreementsCoordinate with Genpact on in-scope deduction activities, ensuring effective handoffs and resolution trackingSupport month-end close activities related to deductions and customer balancesMaintain deduction documentation and reporting to provide Finance and Sales leadership with visibilityIdentify and recommend process improvements that reduce deduction complexity and cycle timeFollow food safety, quality, and SQF practices, and report issues to the immediate supervisorPerform other duties as assignedWe create connections with every sip. Onsite presence of the Finance and Supply Chain teams, along with others, ensures the right voices are at the table at the right time to align on next steps.Enables richer, faster feedback loops – Real-time observation and discussion with Rain Makers across departments help us spot gaps, adapt processes, and improve outcomes immediately.WHAT YOU BRINGBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Accounts Receivable, deductions management, or customer finance.Experience in a CPG or beverage category strongly preferred.Strong understanding of trade deductions, chargebacks, and customer billing processes.Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage a high volume of transactions and disputes.Proficiency with Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel); strong Excel skills required.Experience with VIP required.Anaplan experience preferred.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable working directly with Sales and customer contacts.Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, occasionally working evenings and weekends for special assignments.At Talking Rain...We are Accountable for ResultsWe make clear commitments, follow through, and take responsibility for outcomes.
