Were looking for the most hospitable, energetic, and talented restaurant Bartenders in the desert to join our pack. Duties / Responsibilities

• Welcome and connect with every guest, provide friendly and personable service.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area, including seating area.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests including their dogs.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of all our menus & products and demonstrate knowledge of dietary/allergy information and proper food handling.
• Drive sales through knowledgeable, suggestive selling of featured cocktails, food, and specials.
• Utilize the POS system for all guest transactions.
• Accurately open, maintain, and close guest tabs; handle cash and card payments and reconcile at the end of each shift.
• Prepare drinks according to recipe and customer requests.
• Prepare craft cocktails to Boozehounds recipe and presentation standards, maintaining consistency and speed during service.
• Verify guest age and identification, serve alcohol responsibly, and monitor for signs of intoxication in accordance with California ABC regulations.
• Communicate with kitchen to ensure all orders and requests are filled.
• Monitor wine & liquor displays and restock inventory.
• Complete bar prep and mise en place cutting garnishes, batching mixers, and stocking ice and stations before and throughout service.
• Handle varying levels of business volume with composure & a positive attitude.
• Support high-volume service during events, drag brunch, and private parties.
• Perform all opening and closing duties assigned by managers.
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changes.
• Driven and self-motivated.
• Maintain customer privacy, behave with open-mindedness and cultural sensitivity.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• At least two years bartending experience required.
• Must hold or obtain a valid California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification within 60 days of hire.
• Must hold or obtain a valid California Food Handler card within 30 days of hire.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as e-mail communication, instant message communications, legal documents, license agreements, contracts, invoices, news articles, technical manuals, budgets, ledgers, purchase orders, financial, marketing, Inventory, shipping, and various reports. Ability to effectively present information, provide instructions and thoroughly answer questions in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization in English.

Reasoning Ability and Computer Skills

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to efficiently use inventory, ordering & computer systems or applications and Microsoft Office programs.
