Job Summary The Bowers Group, a Legence company, is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Project Manager to join our shop fabrication team. This position is based in the DMV area. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain company material standards for pipe, valves, fittings, hangers, and related systems. Review project drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure fabrication readiness. Coordinate pipe, valve, and fitting submittals and material buyout activities with project teams and vendors. Monitor material availability, identify long-lead items, and communicate procurement risks. Collaborate with preconstruction teams to evaluate prefabrication opportunities and capacity requirements for upcoming work. Support planning and execution of prefabricated assemblies, including piping racks, spools, skids, mechanical room assemblies, and other engineered fabrication solutions. Coordinate with BIM/detailing, project management, purchasing, and field operations to support efficient project execution. Drive process improvements, standardization efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives within fabrication operations. Required Skills And Qualifications 5+ years of mechanical construction project management experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to walk long distances, stand for extended periods of time and traverse different types of terrain and elevations. Ability to climb stairs and ladders. Ability to lift up to 50lbs from different levels. Data center project experience preferred. Additional Information This is an in-field position based in the DMV area. No visa sponsorship is available for this position. Salary Range: $100,000 - $155,000.
