RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating required to all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
• Must wear navy scrubs
• 2+ years of experience required in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU
• Travel experience required
• Must have experience with CRRT and Prismaflex
• Heart experience highly preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: Current AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Active NY nursing license required with NURSYS verification
• Work with specialty equipment including IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Arctic Sun)
• Care for patients with diagnoses including strokes, sepsis, altered mental status, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, cardiogenic shock, trauma, and major post-operative surgical cases
• Work across multiple ICU units: Neuro/Med (22 beds), CTICU (6 beds), and Surgery/Trauma (14 beds)
