This position is essential to ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities\n \n Provide comprehensive nursing assessment and care for patients in the stroke unit.\n Assist with the management of care plans and coordinate with the healthcare team.\n Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient outcomes.\n Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatments, and care plans.\n Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.\n Respond to patient emergencies and provide critical assistance as needed.\n Qualifications\n \n Active Florida state or multistate nursing license.\n Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.\n Certification in NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).\n Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical nursing required.\n Experience with stroke patients is preferred.\n Work Schedule\n This position primarily requires overnight shifts, working from 6 PM to 6 AM.
