Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 12-Week Assignment | On-Call Possible

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care
• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policy and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in high-acuity or fast-paced Labor & Delivery settings
• Strong leadership and clinical decision-making skills in obstetrical care environments
