PREVIOUS CONSTRUCTION INVENTORY EXPERIENCE AND EXPERIENCE OPERATING FORK LIFTS AND SIMILAR EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED. A CLASS A CDL LICENSE IS HIGHLY PREFERRED.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

This role will be responsible for maintaining our inventory levels for supplies and materials. This individual will be responsible for ensuring inventory numbers are accurate, organized, and easily located. Additionally, they will be responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the warehouse and surrounding areas (inside & outside).

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

• Work safely at all times, keeping yourself and your teammates safe through your proactive actions.
• Load & unload trucks using a forklift.
• Maintain inventory of all materials, tools, and supplies.
• Confirm count on each shipment and inspect for damages.
• Inventory weekly subcontractors’ trucks for materials and supplies.
• Inventory weekly in-house crews’ trucks for material and supplies.
• Maintain inventory data in Penguin.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to focus on details while still operating within tight deadlines.
• Proficient communication skills.
• Ability to work alone with little supervision.
• Ability to quickly learn new technology.
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a forklift certification.
• Prior experience working with or around inventory systems, maintaining inventory levels, or tracking inventory usage.
• At least 2 years’ prior experience operating a Powered Industrial Truck (forklift)

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Outdoors environment which may require exposure to elements, including but not limited to wind, rain, heat, cold, snow, sleet, mud, etc.
• May be required to stand, sit, bend, twist, and reach as part of the job.
• Extended periods of standing on your feet may be required.
• May be required to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, or other job-related pre-hire screenings related to the job.
• This position may require occasional overnight travel (<25%) via air, automobile, plane, or other means.
