About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified OB/GYN RN in Huntington, Indiana, 46750!

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients and families during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases of childbirth
• Deliver newborn care within a 6-bed LDRP and 3-bed Postpartum unit
• Utilize Electronic Fetal Monitoring equipment and interpret fetal heart rate patterns in accordance with unit standards
• Document patient care using the Epic electronic medical record system and administer medications via Pyxis
• Operate fetal warmers and other unit-specific equipment as required
• Adhere to Indiana Perinatal Standards for staffing and patient care ratios; two nurses are required in the facility at all times

• Active RN licensure in Indiana or compact state eligibility
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of OB nursing experience
• Mandatory attendance required for all 7 days of orientation (Monday-Friday, Week 1; Monday-Tuesday, Week 2; 8-hour days)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the standard contract rate; candidates within 50 miles are subject to a local rate adjustment

• 3-5 years of OB experience preferred
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring certification preferred
• Familiarity with Epic EMR and Electronic Fetal Monitoring systems

• Structured orientation and department-specific training program tailored to the nurse's experience level and expertise
• Stable, team-based environment where nurses are never expected to work alone, supporting both patient safety and staff well-being
