Job Summary

Administration of radiopharmaceuticals for diagnosis and/or therapy, and use of nuclear medicine equipment for detection and diagnosis of disease, injury and abnormality in a manner so as to achieve a high level of patient satisfaction.

Essential Job Qualifications

Experience: Three years of experience preferred.

Training/Certification

Licensure: N.Y. S. Department of Health 4. Other: Registry with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and/or certification with Nuclear Medicine Certification Board.

High level of customer sensitivity.

• Oversees modality specific Quality Assurance Program.
• Performs weekly inventory of supplies; submits list of items to be ordered.
• Submits preliminary time schedule to Department Manager.
• Communicates issues to Department Manager for resolution.
• Assists in formulation and implementation of modality specific policies, procedures and protocols.
• Performs responsibilities of Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
