Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg Unit A Location: Lexington, NC Department: 34401 Lexington Medical Center – Nursing: Med Surg Unit A Employment Type: Full time, 36 hours per week, Day Shift (Three 12‑hour shifts per week, every third weekend) Pay Range: $37.50–$56.25 per hour Responsibilities Deliver safe, patient‑centered care using the nursing process, clinical judgment, and evidence‑based practice—monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and adapting care to support optimal outcomes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes—promoting safety, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting communication and delegation, and engaging in ongoing professional development. Qualifications Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program. Active, unrestricted RN license (multi‑state compact and/or state‑specific as applicable). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience with adult medical‑surgical patients. Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
