2026 Summer Project Coordinator, Leasing

Responsibilities Village at Tuxedo Reserve (VTR) is a new mixed‑use development in the Hudson Valley, scheduled to open in Fall 2026. Related is hiring two Summer Project Coordinators to support retail and restaurant leasing and development efforts at VTR. Coordinator will work field‑based, gaining direct exposure to real estate development, leasing, marketing, and entrepreneurship. They will operate with autonomy, working closely with senior team members while taking ownership of outreach, research, and on‑ground execution. Location: Hudson Valley (field base) with limited time in Hudson Yards, NYC Project Dates: July 13th 2026 – September 4th 2026 Market Research & Tenant Identification Identify and research prospective retail and restaurant tenants aligned with VTR’s vision. Manage and update current database of prospective tenants using VTR’s custom AI software platform. Conduct market analysis to assess tenant viability and positioning using demographic, economic, and business trend data. Perform direct outreach via phone, email, and in‑person visits to generate new tenant leads. Present the VTR opportunity and schedule meetings with leasing leadership. Field Engagement & Relationship Building Travel and canvas throughout the Hudson Valley and Northern New Jersey to identify prospective tenants. Conduct in‑person visits and develop relationships with prospective tenants, ensuring appropriate follow‑up. Track outreach efforts and pipeline progress. Property Tours & On‑Site Support Assist in hosting tours of the VTR site for prospective tenants. Communicate project vision, timeline, and leasing opportunities. Gather feedback and provide insights to the leasing and development team. Leasing Promotions & Community Activation Development Support residential leasing outreach and marketing initiatives. Assist with community activation, sponsorship outreach, and event programming. Contribute to marketing efforts, including social media and promotional materials. Qualifications Related’s summer analyst program aims to train and evaluate the next generation of leaders. To be considered for the 2025 Summer Analyst program, applicants must meet the following criteria: Current undergraduate sophomore with a target graduation date between December 2026 and Spring 2028. Strong passion for real estate development. Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical engineering, construction management, or related fields. Exhibits strong technical skills and job‑specific knowledge. Demonstrates clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Self‑starter who is proactive in tackling tasks and challenges. Detail‑oriented. Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment. Resume must include expected graduation month and year. Compensation The hourly rate for this position is $25.
