Job Summary
Telemetry (TELE) Nurse needed for a Post Surgical Unit in a healthcare facility. This position involves caring for acutely ill adult and geriatric patients requiring cardiac monitoring, including reading cardiac rhythms and administering IV cardiac medications. The role requires experience with telemetry patients, including medication administration and rhythm interpretation.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; Valid California State License; EKG Interpretation required.
• Education Requirements: Not specified.
• Location Requirements: Candidates must have uploaded Nursys verification within the last two weeks.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 0 years, with at least 2 years of experience preferred.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be able to care for telemetry patients, including administering IV cardiac medications such as heparin and insulin drips. The position may involve floating to other telemetry/med-surg units as needed. Onboarding requires completing labs within 3-5 days of contract signing, and all compliance documents are due 10 days prior to the start date.
