WHO ARE WE? Founded and headquartered in Danielson in 2006, with additional program locations established in Avon and Bethany Connecticut, The Supported Living Group (SLG) provides industry leading non‑medical community based and person‑centered support services throughout the state of Connecticut. SCHEDULE Mon thru Wed 1st Shift Sunday second shift WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE? In this role, you will assist with household chores and tasks, drive to appointments, provide assistance with personal hygiene, and help develop routines that promote independence and self‑sufficiency. You will also teach essential life skills such as grocery shopping and budgeting to empower individuals to navigate everyday life. WHAT MATTERS MOST To thrive in this role as a Direct Support Professional, certain skills and qualifications are essential. Excellent Communication Problem‑Solving and flexibility A commitment to the health and wellbeing of others A high school education (or GED) Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license, insurance and registration Must be at least 18 years or older with a personal cell phone We value passion and a willingness to learn!
